Olympic fevor in Beijing

One of the world's greatest cities is alive and well with excitement over the games. The sky is clearing, the traffic is not, and all stand ready to jump on the world stage.

I have distinctly noticed a difference in crucial areas such manners and hospitatility in front of the games. It has been weeks since I have heard anyone in the act of digging deep to spit something worth spitting. I litterally was shocked today during lunch when a taxi actually waitet for me to pass at a intersection.

Yes, strange things are brewing in Beijing, and it's fun to be part of it.
